About

I was raised in Los Angeles by a veterinary ophthalmologist, so animals were always part of my world (even if I failed every dog breed quiz on the street!). I lost my childhood cats when my mom passed, and later adopted a cat when I wasn’t ready. I wasn’t a rockstar cat parent, and we were both really sad. After losing him too, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I had failed...even growing up around animals, I still felt completely lost.

After years of health issues, I knew I needed the magic of kitty love again, but this time, I was going to do it differently. So I dove into a truly unhinged amount of research and adopted Remy. We weren’t besties at first, but I showed up differently and over time, everything changed. Now he’s the cat everyone threatens to steal (SEMI-jokingly), and I love him like my right arm and both kidneys. This space is everything I learned distilled into your perfectly hinged amount of research—so you can skip straight to the bonded, soulmate phase with your cat.
